DAY 50: the Work Goes on. 19 days to Grand Re-Opening of Lahaina Public Library

How many days does it take to produce a great new Lahaina Public Library? More than 50, it turns out. Volunteer Electrician Brian Balinbin of West Side Electric works with wires on new circulation desk and completes other projects. Librarian Madeleine Buchanan and staff prepare for the return of unpackers/reshelvers on Nov. 1. On the home front, planners are busy with a myriad of details for the Salute to Volunteers Grand Re-Opening. More invites out soon.
