Some people have asked why the tag line Normʻs Voices of Maui under each dayʻs headline. These photos–designed to celebrate our volunteers and showcase the project–come from a man of many hats. The company name comes from my book, “Voices of Maui: Natives and Newcomers,” based on my Lahaina News columns and featuring profiles of Hawaiians, Entertainers, Entrepreneurs, Community Leaders and Colorful Characters. This and my second book is showcased at http://voicesofmaui.com.
You can purchase the book from the site, or at BARNES & NOBLE in Lahaina, the coffee store at the Lahaina smokestack, Kaʻanapali Beach Hotel Lobby Shop, Bailey Museum and Native Intelligence in Wailuku and at the Courthouse under the Banyan tree. My new book “Maui for Millions Tales of Remarkable People of Aloha” is available exclusively at the Kaʻanapali Beach Hotel Coffee Shop.
