Day 13: Painters make more progress: Rotary Club of Lahaina/ Maui Friends of the Library Community Facelift Project.

Steamer Johnson begins painting bookshelves that remain on the wall as the library (which is closed) holds a childrenʻs program on the lawn.  Painters start on the back office and bathrooms, volunteering to expand the work to those areas. Scott Brothers Pacific supervisor there every day wielding brushes and rollers.

  1. Another great story, Norm. The painters, the warehouse people, the rotary club, and especially what Sara and you have done getting this whole project put together. Everywhere you turn during this remodeling, a person meets new friends that they have not met before. A sence of unity that everyone shares knowing that for a very limited time we are working and sharing Enthusiam for a very special project. Norm, I have Sara’s email but I would like your email so that I can share my daily appreciation for this project.
